SoftPOS: Benefits, Drawbacks, and Projections

Until recently, SoftPOS systems didn’t enable PINs to be inputted. The new PIN on Glass technology, on the other hand, is becoming more widely available. PINs may now be entered directly on the glass screen of a smartphone using this new technology. That’s why the solution allows businesses to accept higher-value and more frequent payments (without the use of a PIN) using SoftPOS.

But it’s important to remember that some high-value contactless transactions might not work because of security concerns.

Android only

Android-based smartphones and tablets are the only platforms supported by software POS systems at this time. In order to take payments utilizing SoftPOS technology, you must only utilize Android-compatible equipment.
